How To Get A Head In Psychology.

This weekend the weather in NYC was glorious – the first peek of spring time sun, hopefully signalling the beginning of warmer weather (fingers crossed).  I returned to Dumbo for the amazing view across to Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge – a true ‘New York moment’ I love to repeat over and over.  I also wore my new MOKODO hat – MOKODO are a recently launched collection of sporty fashion accessories founded by Irene Tang, who previously held roles at Catherine Malandrino and Elizabeth and James.  Inspired by a trip that was supposed to be short term, and instead saw her travelling and snowboarding all around the world, Irene returned to NYC with the idea of designing accessories that marry form and function with a stylish urban edge, at a competitive price.

I love hats but I don’t wear them often – with the New Year resolution to accessorise, accessorise, accessorise (you saw my statement necklace post, right?) these are perfect.

Are you a hat person, Blog Reader?  Where do you buy your head wear?

Wearing: Hat, MOKODO; Tee – Eighteenth.  Sunglasses, GUESS.

That first picture of you is just stunning! x

  3. You look great in a hat! I love them, but don’t love them on me … don’t know why … always feels like they should fit better or something. They always add such a stylish twist. Hope you had a wonderful weekend ~ happy new week wishes! xoxo

    Great photos! Just beautiful!
    I’m not a hat person at all…I wish I were. 😦

Until about two years ago, I never wore a hat – which is especially significant considering I grew up in a palce where temperatures regularly dip as low as -40 degrees celcius. My head is very small, and everything seems to cover my eyes! But once I discovered my one perfect hat (at H&M), it was all over. My hat collection has grown expontentially since then, and the next one on my wishlist is a black toque – I’d been envisioning something plain, but I love the subtle details on yours, which, by the way, is perfect on you. You definitely pull off hats beautifully, and maybe this one will be a jumping off point for your collection 🙂

    Oh gorgeous shots!
I’m not too much of a hat person, for my size, I have an unusually large head (probably all the hair) and hats don’t fit me too well. Sad, because I love them but I guess it’s an impossible love affair.

  9. First of all – the first image swept me off my feet – gorge!
    Second – love hats! 🙂 x

Someone is looking right at home in NYC!! Hats really suit you.
I only wear hats when it’s freezing – cold ears are never in fashion. I wish I could pull off earmuffs but alas, those days are behind me.

I am a hat person! I usually get my hats at boutiques or department stores in the mall. My secret place to find casual summer hats is Target.
